Shin-Band Liniment by Dominion Veterinary Laboratories is a rubefacient (counterirritant) liniment with antiseptic properties for horses. Used as an external aid for the prevention of bucked shins and for temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with common equine leg ailments.

📦 Indications & Target Species

Approved for: Horses.

🐎 Bucked Shin Prevention: Applied before workouts or races to help prevent bucked shins.
🩹 Temporary Pain Relief: Provides relief from discomfort associated with splints, osselets, big knee swelling, sore tendons, muscular soreness, and soft ankles.
🛡️ Antiseptic Properties: Iodine content provides surface antiseptic action on treated areas.

📋 Directions for Use

For External Use Only. DO NOT BANDAGE after application.

Bucked Shin Prevention: Paint Shin-Band on the leg one half hour before each workout or race. Repeat daily or as recommended by your veterinarian.

Splints, Osselets, Swelling, Sore Tendons & Muscular Soreness: Apply with a brush to the affected area once or twice daily on each working day, or as recommended by your veterinarian.

⚠️ Caution: Apply to a clean leg from which all other medications have been removed. If condition does not improve after 2–3 consecutive applications, or if it deteriorates, consult a veterinarian.
