7% Iodine Tincture — stronger than standard 2% consumer iodine. Used for navel dipping in newborn livestock, ringworm treatment, wound antisepsis, and pre/post-surgical site preparation in cattle and horses. Available in 500 mL and 4 L. Dilute 1:3 for repeated applications.
🎯 What It’s Used For
The most critical use at calving, lambing, and foaling. Dip the umbilical cord stump immediately after birth to seal it against joint ill (navel ill) bacteria. 7% strength dries and disinfects faster than 2% iodine.
Applied directly to ringworm lesions in cattle and horses. One of the most effective topical treatments for herd ringworm outbreaks — apply daily until resolved.
Topical disinfection of cuts, abrasions, and minor wounds. Apply lightly once daily — dilute 1:3 for repeated applications.
Site disinfection before and after field surgeries, castrations, and minor incisions in horses and cattle.
Stimulates local circulation to manage chronic joint or muscle inflammation under veterinary direction.
